An interest request is the moderated first step toward a private connection.

Steps

1. Open the profile you want to contact and select Send Interest.
2. Confirm the request and add a respectful message if the form allows one.
3. Wait while the request is reviewed by an administrator.
4. Check Sent Interests for its pending, published, accepted or declined status.

Good to know

• Do not repeatedly contact a member who has declined or has not responded.
• Both sender and receiver are notified when an administrator publishes the request.
