The wizard profile-photo step prepares your main profile image; the Photos area manages the separate gallery.

Steps

1. Choose a clear, recent photograph of yourself with good lighting, without private documents or other people.
2. Open Profile photo in the wizard and choose an accepted image up to 5 MB. Check the preview and save the section.
3. Wait for confirmation. The draft image remains in private draft storage until final submission; selecting or saving it does not publish it.
4. Review and submit the profile when ready. Use My Account > Photos separately for gallery albums, moderation and private-photo access requests.

Good to know

• The gallery has its own limits and access controls. Do not assume its private-access settings apply to the submitted main profile image.
