Use a Family Helper account

Last reviewed October 7, 2026

A Family Helper account gives invited relatives access to shared profiles without candidate onboarding.

Steps

  1. Open the emailed Parent, Sibling or Guardian invitation within seven days. If it is expired, revoked or already used, ask the owner for a new invitation.
  2. If the invited email has no account, enter your own name, a password of at least 12 characters and its confirmation, then explicitly accept shared-profile access. The invited email is fixed; no candidate details are needed.
  3. If you already have an account, use sign-in or password reset from the invitation. Sign in with the exact invited email and accept or decline. If another account is signed in, sign out first.
  4. After new helper registration, you are signed in and taken to the shared-profile dashboard. Existing members can use the helper view while retaining their ordinary account.
  5. Review the shared profiles, relationship and permissions. Choose Edit shared profile or Manage shared photos when authorised. Use account settings and sign out when finished.

Good to know

  • Family access links to the helper dashboard at /member-dashboard/?view=family&helper_access=1. Revoked profiles are removed automatically and their editing/photo actions are denied.
  • New restricted helpers do not receive Premium trials or referral attribution, and do not see candidate onboarding, Create my profile, subscription or referral prompts. Candidate invitations follow a separate candidate flow.
  • Shared editing preserves ownership and uses the owner registration details for empty candidate contact fields. The helper view adds editing and photo management, not new delegated interest or call workflows.
